The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.
Who do you work with and do you specialize in any areas?
I work with a variety of clients and topics but have the most experience working with college students and young professionals, perfectionists, overachievers, and people with intersectional identities. Areas of specialty are career and transitions, emerging adulthood, adoption, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, romantic obstacles, and trauma.
My ideal clients are generally Self-Aware Independent Overachievers in their 20s-40s Figuring Out Relationships, Navigating Family Dynamics, and Searching for Self Love
How much will it cost? Do you offer a sliding scale?
Sessions are $210/each. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available on a case-by-case basis and can be discussed during the consultation. You can use this graphic as a guide to determine where you may fall. I accept payment via credit/debit cards. Tools like Float and Mentaya are available to automate the claim submission process and utilize out-of-network benefits to receive reimbursement.
How are you licensed (a.k.a. where can I work with you)?
I am licensed in NY and Washington and can provide telehealth services to clients in those locations. I am also registered in Florida as an out-of-state telehealth provider.
What is your theoretical orientation?
Theoretically, I practice from an integrative model, where I combine psychodynamic theory, CBT, DBT, and multicultural counseling techniques, and narrative therapy perspectives.
How often will we meet?
Sessions are 50 minutes and occur weekly, at the same time each week. Bi-weekly sessions can be discussed toward the end of treatment before termination. All sessions will take place remotely via a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
Do you take insurance?
*I am currently at capacity for insurance clients and only have slots for out-of-pocket clients.
I accept Optum, which includes United Healthcare, Oxford Health Plans, UMR, Oscar, Harvard Pilgrim, and UHC Student Resources, and Aetna. If you would like to use your insurance, please visit my Alma profile to schedule a consultation.
If you have alternative insurance, I am happy to provide you with a monthly statement so you can seek reimbursement if your insurance provider covers a portion of your “out-of-network” care.
